IT'S MY BIRTHDAY

  I'm recommitting my UBUNTU lifestyle

I like to share with us the UBUNTU story lifestyle of mine as I thought part of what my next phase of life should be while standing outdoor.

UBUNTU is a very nice story from Africa. The motivation behind Ubuntu culture started when an anthropologist proposed a game to the African tribal children.

He placed a basket of sweets near a tree and made the children stand 100metres away. Then, he announced that whoever reaches where the sweets are kept first would get all the sweets in the basket. When he said 'ready, steady go!'.......

Do you know what the children did? They all held each other's hands and ran together towards the tree, they got to the destination together at same time. Then divided the sweets within themselves and enjoyed together.....

Shocked by the anthropologist, he asked them why they did so, they answered...... "UBUNTU." Implying "How can one be happy and the others are sad?"

UBUNTU means- "I am because we are." I have decided to seize this opportunity of my birthday to be recommitted to the UBUNTU attitude, to spread happiness and live a footprint when and wherever I am, to not eat alone but share with others........ Live and let's live

While, I'm most grateful to God for yet, another privilege; reminiscing about all I have been through, the odds and beauty, the sad moments that took my happiness away and the happy moments that took off my sadness too. I feel so much thankful. Watching back my story like it's written in my palm, frightened by many nightmares undoubtedly..... If it were not God, I, Isaac would not make it this far. I'd either be long gone down the grave or be living like one that is not living.

But the strives are o'er, the battles are done; the victory of life is won; the song of triumph has begun in me

Looking at how sweet my triumphant is, how happy I am when my hope is not dashed, a beautiful song is often laid in my heart "

In Christ alone my hope is found

He is my light, my strength, my song

This cornerstone, this solid ground

Firm through the fiercest drought and storm

What heights of love, what depths of peace

When fears are stilled, when strivings cease

My comforter, my all in all

Here in the love of Christ I stand." I have found strength in him and I know so well I'm not going down. That's my thanksgiving

The strength I got in him is what I MUST share with others. I must give when it's due, I celebrate others when I need to, I must be happy when you win, I must anyone irrespective of our stands, I must continue with the UBUNTU spirit- live and let's live together.

It's a blessed year for me already.
