DEAR MOTHERS

On this Mothering Sunday, I write to you cherish mothers, to everyone out there as a mother, I seek and honor you for your impact in our lives as children/offsprings and husband gathered in the world.

I looked inward to what a mother is, I concluded you are priceless. Being a female parent of a child/children. One who inhabit or perform the role of bearing some relation to your children, who or may not be your biological offsprings as I am to many of you. A caregiver and unconditional love giver, housekeeper, cooker, baker, home builder, world leader, taxi driver, psychologist, doctor of our homes, and disciplinarian. You are such a great and undeniable gift to us.

A lot of person believed that mother is any woman who gives birth to child. However, it is important to note that you as our mothers come in different form. Your actions as mothers reflect and influence us in divers way and places in the world. When the society expects you to influence your children morally, academically spiritually and in every area of life, you have always been so careful not to influence us wrongly.

You definition as a mother is incompletely complete without letting you know that you are the world to us. You gave birth, you passed through unbearable pains and you beared them not just because you were forced but you did it and brought us to life, you took responsibilities of physical, spiritual and emotional care specifically. You are an endefining motherhood, you provide care to the world, you consider yourself as one ever valued personality as God created. I CHERISH YOU HEARTILY.

Your role is not just limited to the family, you are the society's first educator, mentors; and truly it is the mothers who determine the happiness, the future greatness, the courteous ways and learning and judgement, the understanding and the faith of their little ones. You are primary agents for empowering individuals that transforms societies. You transformed the world, your pivotal role of being a mother is still the divine mission assigned to women alone.

Like the Jewish proverb rightly affirms what most of us have experienced: “A mother understands what a child does not say.” Indeed there exist a dynamic between you and us your children. You can hear sentences even in our silences.  God has given you the special gift of intuition because it gives you a strong sense of what is right for your children/offsprings what we are good at, how we may excel in the future what gifts and abilities we need to make sure we are developed in our lives as God intended.

You remain our most powerful teachers in the hands-on laboratory of everyday living. You taught us to have confidence and belief in ourselves. You taught us to live out our legacy. Scripture is certainly consistent about reminding us that we will reap what we sow, and for many of us, our mothers – as the greatest women in our lives, you sowed beautiful seeds of truth, wisdom, joy and peace, a spiritual harvest that is now bearing fruit in us your children/offsprings. You have always made a difference and will continue to do so. I LOVE YOU MOTHERS......

THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR US.
